Ep. 10 - Murphy's Law: The True Definition of a Warrior with Lt. Brian Murphy (Pt. 1)
Today, we’re taking things in a bit of a different direction. In this episode, we hear from Lt. Brian Murphy of the Oak Creek Police Department. He will share the untold story of survival, bravery, and resilience behind the events of August 5th, 2012, when a gunman opened fire on a Sikh Temple, taking the lives of several attendees before being taken out by police. Lt. Brian was the first officer on the scene and survived several shots from the gunman. As heroic as his actions were, it’s ultimately the victims and the other people involved he lifts up. The actions of the people in and around the temple—it’s a story too few people know or understand. Understanding what happened may ultimately unlock the warrior in you.
